Focussed on digital marketing for small businesses. That includes search engine optimisation (SEO) and Local SEO. Why? Local SEO is becoming vitally important these days to businesses that have a local presence. (Although the word has yet to get out in a big way!)
Keeping up to date with the industry can be quite intense - there's always plenty more to learn. It's done through following industry news, attending webinars, industry seminar videos and ongoing education such as at DistilledU (highly recommended and they give you badges!).
Why the name?
What's more local than walking up the road and picking blackberries? Most of us have done it, the things are everywhere and tasty too.They are not available all year round but their brambles are and probably growing in your street. Local, organic and bountiful. The perfect description for successful local SEO.
When did Bramble Digital start?
December 2014 though the SEO experience behind it dates back to the noughties, (back then SEO was a little different). Customer service experience dates back before that to the nineties and beyond. Lots of years of learning what to do and how to do it, plus some unlearning of things as Google pushed the SEO world from mostly technical activities to a much bigger marketing bias.
The ltd bit was tacked onto the name in 2017.
Where is it?
Based in Swindon, Wiltshire. Local for some cities like Bristol and Gloucester, the M4 and the shrinking green stuff between nearby towns (known as the countryside).
Who is behind the business?
That'd be David Sparks, internet marketing & local SEO consultant. Previously a senior client manager at a digital marketing agency, an ecommerce person before that and even a corporate career in IT services. Oh and vice house captain at school (lofty heights eh?).
